Data were collected on a Titan Krios G3 electron microscope operating at 300 kV and equipped with a Gatan BioContinuum energy filter with a 20-eV slit width. All images were collected at a nominal magnification of 165,000x in EF-TEM mode (with a calibrated pixel size of 0.854 Å) on a Gatan K2 detector direct electron detector. Micrographs were acquired in MRC format with a cumulative electron exposure of 65 electrons/Å2 with a defocus range of − 1.0 to − 2.5 µm. Data were collected automatically using EPU with aberration free image shift.</details>
